Clip the guide to the spine of your knife and maintain contact with the stone throughout the sharpening process. The ceramic guide smoothly glides across the whetstone at a precise distance, producing a perfect 15 degree angle. 

This set of two sharpening guides includes a small and large clip. Use the large guide for blades that are wider than one inch, and the small guide for narrower blades.
