The fine grit steel works great on both Messermeister Elite and Japanese knife lines by restoring the knife’s edge, smoothing and re-aligning it to maintain an enduring sharpness.

The Oliva range is named after the beautiful polished Italian olive wood handles the knives are made from, which have a sleek, smooth finish.

This honing steel is not dishwasher safe. Hand wash in warm water and avoid cleaners containing citrus and beach to protect the delicate wood. We advise you regularly oil the wood handle with food safe mineral or rapeseed oil to prevent splitting and protect the wooden finish.
