Enamelled 12 Person Paella Pan 40cm

This high-quality classic paella pan has a large, flat 40cm-diameter base. This means the rice spreads into a thin layer, allowing it to cook evenly and absorb stock at a steady rate. This large paella pan is ideal for cooking a twelve-person paella, or throw a paella party and let everyone help themselves!

Unlike risottos, this traditional Spanish dish from Valencia shouldn’t be stirred continuously, so the thin base helps achieve the perfect ‘socarrat’ (crispy bottom), creating the toasted caramel flavours of an authentic paella. The dimpled steel allows the pan to sit on a high heat without warping. Also use the pan for large Spanish omelettes, frittatas or even full English breakfasts.

The twelve-person paella pan is wider at the top, with a diameter of 46cm.

This paella pan is enamelled with a coating of vitreo-ceramic, protecting the pan from rust. The enamel also prevents food sticking – try to avoid using sharp utensils to preserve the pan’s non-stick qualities.

This pan is not suitable for using on an induction or ceramic hob, however it is oven-safe.

Please note – small patches of uncoated metal under the rim of the pan are normal and do not affect the quality of the product. This is where the pans are held on racks to dry after being coated in enamel.
